Manuel J. Hoyo, DMD, MSD

Dr. Manuel Hoyo practiced as a general dentist for nine years prior to receiving his certificate for Advanced Graduate Study and a Masters in Science in Dentistry in Endodontics in 1992 at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry. He became the Clinical Director of the Post Doctoral Endodontic program chaired by Dr. Herbert Schilder at Boston University and was responsible for training residents receiving their degree in Endodontics. In 1998, Dr. Hoyo moved to Rochester with his wife and partner Dr. Lambertucci-Hoyo where they maintain private practices in Greece and Webster, New York.

Dr. Hoyo was trained in placing implants at Northeastern Implant Seminars. He has the knowledge to read dental scans, which sometimes are necessary in the proper treatment planning and positioning of dental implants. He continues to attend continuing education courses in Endodontics and Implantology.

Dr. Hoyo holds a position of Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center and lectures yearly to residents and general dentists in the vertical compaction technique.

Dr. Hoyo also lectures extensively demonstrating the vertical compaction technique in Endodontics in the United States, Brazil and Germany.

He co-author in writing an article that was published in the Jornal Of Periodontology “Loss of Pulp Vitality Following Maxillary Sinus Augmentation. A Surgical and Endodontic Approach” Georgios E. Dr. Hoyo is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the New York State Dental Society, the Seventh District Dental Society of New York, and the Colegio de Cirujanos Dentistas de Puerto Rico.
